Designing this remodel alongside a client who shares a genuine love for design and materials was a truly inspiring experience. United by our kindred spirit, we worked within the constraints of the existing footprint—honoring the wood plank porcelain tile and leaving walls and appliances in place. Our creativity centered on purposeful enhancements: we expanded the island to provide generous seating with a rounded counter for smoother traffic flow, adding functional touches like a microwave drawer and beverage center. This reimagining liberated the back wall, transforming the range area with a striking architectural hood as a new focal point. To elevate storage and visual interest, we stacked cabinets to the ceiling, featuring lighted glass display sections that showcase cherished pieces. A previously long wall of pantries was redesigned for versatility, integrating a beverage service counter with specialty wire inserts for practical elegance. Custom herringbone tile graces the tall cabinets, while diamond zellige tile accents the beverage counter, echoing the unique wire mesh. Throughout the space, warm alder cabinetry is paired with Cambria quartz counters and soft brass accents, creating a harmonious blend of texture, warmth, and craftsmanship that celebrates our shared passion for thoughtful design.Tranquil Organic Neutral Sanctuary
