Our Work
“The bitterness of low quality lasts long after the sweetness of low price” is a quote I’ve carried with me to every office I’ve occupied since 1998. In 2006, a low budget remodel intended to flip a house inspired my husband and I to live smaller. The cabinets were looking drab and the hardware finish was rubbing off while the paint in the bathroom was crackling. There was mismatched door hardware and some doors and trim that should have been replaced but never was. We had elected to do carpet in the bedrooms and it was long overdue for replacement.

We used a high-grade Sherwin Williams paint in a more neutral shade that has excellent durability in a low sheen throughout the house. We replaced all the trim molding and the bedroom doors and matched all the hardware in a dark bronze. We had Rogo’s match the floors to the rest of the house for the bedroom. I redesigned the kitchen and decided to upgrade every feature I could and used granite even though the value of houses in the neighborhood doesn’t necessarily return on investment for these upgrades; it was for me not the next buyer. Lastly, I had some fun learning about heirloom rugs and bought one for every room!
